What to do with all those chives? Here are some great ideas.
Spring is a great time to plant new herbs. Choose from Onion or Garlic chives. Or both! We love them in eggs, potatoes, and just about anything else. (use our link above to support Gardenerd).

This trick works with green onions too (cut them to soil level), and other aphid-infested plants as long as the plants isn’t one and done. If you can remove the outer leaves and let the newest baby leaves remain, it will recover.
