It’s that time of year – garden tours (like the Mar Vista Green Garden Showcase last weekend, and the Venice Garden Tour this weekend), and garden shows abound. This weekend, April 30, May 1 & 2, we are participating with a Gardenerd booth at the LA Garden Show at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens.
There are plenty of things to see and do at the Garden Show, including design demonstrations, and lectures. Check out the talk on Permaculture by the very cool Caitlin Bergman on Saturday at 2:00, or the lecture on Organic Edible Summer Gardens by my colleague John Lyons on Sunday at noon. There is so much more – too many to mention here.
Not only will we be there doling out free gardening advice, but you can grab a chance to win an Ultimate Garden Bag , and pick up some of your favorite items from our website at discount prices. Right next door to us will be our friends from Ardenwoods Edibles, who sell gorgeous organic heirloom seedlings. We’ll actually be outfitting our Woolly Pockets with seedlings from Ardenwoods this weekend.
Come learn a lot and enjoy a day with peacocks (yes, there are beautiful peacocks running around the grounds – they actually own the place, and we’re just visiting). Click the Living Green logo above for all the details.
Hope to see you there!

Have a great time. One of my favorite things about winter in Seattle is the NW FLower and Garden show- so cool to have everything blooming on a cold winter day!
