How do you know if you have rats eating your garden produce? For example, one of my green beans had a bite ( half the width of the bean) taken out near the middle. The bean was growing about 4 feet off the ground. Could this be rats? Or what? No droppings like what was in your tomato horn worm video. Thanks!
HI Sue, sounds like rats to me. They take bites out of the tips of lettuces, but the middle of beans (they did that to my Christmas lima beans one year). I recommend setting traps.
