On Sunday, April 6th, 2025, friends, family, and fans gathered to celebrate the early arrival of Christy’s new book High Yield Small Space Organic Gardening. The event at Diesel Bookstore was bustling with energy and inspiration for spring gardening.
Yesterday, April 8th, the book officially became available to the public. And we’re now offering autographed copies from the Gardenerd and author herself. Even if you missed the big outdoor celebration and book signing, you can still grab your piece of the pie (well, there were cookies and lemon cake, and lemonade, technically no pie but…).
Folks asked questions about growing Swiss chard, dealing with spider mites, and how to keep cilantro alive. Christy answered them all, and referenced other information in the book for success throughout the season. Afterward, it was time to sign books.
Guests bought out every single copy, but don’t worry, Diesel is ordering more. You can still order your copy from them directly or your local independent bookseller. Remember, the big A doesn’t need your money…not ever.
The party was fun, but now it’s time to turn the advice into actions. Plant those seeds, plan that garden layout, get growing in whatever space is available to you. Christy’s new book will help you every step of the way.
