Review: Relaxed Gardener Water Wand

A month or so back, Donna from The Relaxed Gardener sent me their watering wand to review at Gardenerd HQ. We had a true need for a replacement, so I welcomed the chance to review this new product.

Our old hose nozzle worked, but it was a danger to anyone who touched it. Rusted and disintegrating, ours had seen better days.

This sad, old, tired hose nozzle had done it’s job and was now dangerous to use.

Then this arrived in the mail:

A watering wand from Relaxed Gardener

We put it to the test right away in the garden. In checking all the settings, all of them work great except Mist. The mist setting sort of dribbles and doesn’t really generate a mist at all. We don’t really use the Mist setting so it was a non-issue. And the other worked well, especially Shower, our preferred setting.

The lever was easy to use and the flow of water was perfect.

The handle was comfortable and the lever was easy to control. It was also easy to change settings on the nozzle to Jet, Cone, or any of the other six settings. And it gives me a little more reach than my old hose nozzle. Plus it’s nice to have something that won’t give me tetanus.

We use the watering wand to irrigate our Greenstalk Garden

What I appreciate about this company is that it is woman-owned, thoughtfully curated, and NOT an Amazon shop. Check out the Relaxed Gardener website for more of their products.
