Wordless Wednesday: Ordered Chaos

We’ve let the garden do what it does, created an ordered chaos out there. When we let nature do her thing, it usually works out better than if we wrestle nature into compliance. Here’s some inspiration to get you through the week.

Harvests and Endings

Salad greens, beets, parsnips, cabbage and dill make up one day’s harvest. We’re clearing beds to make room for new crops.
Kale is finally going to seed, and attracting bees
Time to harvest and process this celeriac. We cube and freeze these for year-round use in meals. Here’s how.

New Beginnings

These breadseed poppies bring cheer and beauty to any garden.
Tomatoes are starting to flower – now is a good time to fertilize if you haven’t already this month.
