Wordless Wednesday: Christmas Eve

In honor of Christmas Eve and the chance to relax, here is some inspiration for your holiday. We look forward to helping you grow your best garden in 2026.

Holiday Cheer – Christmas Eve

We delight in decorating by bringing the outdoors inside.
The fragrance of noble fir fills the air at Gardenerd HQ.
We reuse found pine cones every year as part of our decorations.
More pine cones fill a hurricane glass with greenery and ribbons.

From the Garden

Mustard greens, lettuces and spinach are happy this time of year. Salads for the season.
Our first kale harvest of the season. It’s time for Esalen Raw Kale Salad.
Our tangerine tree put out exactly 1 fruit this year. The woes of “alternate year” production. We need to step up our fertility game in 2026.
Strawberries start to bloom in our Greenstalk vertical garden. It’s a great way to grow a lot of strawberries in a small space. Use this link to get a discount on your order.

Slowing Down

Chayote squash sprouted indoors. The seed only sprouts while inside the fruit. Now this can be planted.
Mittens hangs out under a manzanita bush. It’s her happy/sleepy place.

We’re taking a couple weeks off to enjoy a little down time. Happy holidays and we look forward to growing with you in 2026!
