Wordless Wednesday: Wonder-full Fall Gardening

As seedlings take hold as we enter the wonder-full fall gardening time. Radishes, lettuces, brassicas, peas, and more are filling the beds. Whether you are taking a break this fall or diving into fall gardening head first, here’s some inspiration to keep you going until winter solstice.

Snow peas are already flowering at just 24″ tall.
The salad garden is under floating row cover for protection from critters. Lettuces, mustard, arugula and more fill out the garden.
Helios radishes are getting close to picking time. The shoulders peak out so you can tell when to pick them.

Celeriac grows well over winter in warm-winter climates.
Nicotiana, mint, and nasturtiums are spreading to cover the soil. These grow in shallow containers to keep them in check.
Calendula is coming back from summer dormancy.
