It’s Kale Season!

In honor of our first kale harvest (albeit the lower leaves of each young kale plant), I want to celebrate the start of kale season with recipes. Fall is my favorite growing season, mainly because kale grows without attracting aphids.

We've officially passed the fall equinox, which means the garden looks like crap. Death is part of the garden's life cycle and it is something we must come to terms with. The good news is that fall also welcomes new beginnings --  cool season crops!
